Hi there, much like this issue: Random incoming shares

I can’t explain exactly why, but I get random incoming shares which do not show up on the “shared with me section” on the web interface.

It’s almost like when people in my gapps domain create a domain link for a file they pop up in my incoming. But I don’t think it’s all the time for everyone…

Finally, it’s weird because I just opened a view only google doc which was public on the web and this popped up:

Would appreciate some help stopping it as it occurs regularly.

Hi there, this happens sometimes when a public link (Gdoc) is opened, I will tag our engineer @dipesh to help you out.

@dazman22 That’s the expected behaviour, the anyone with a link/public files/folders that you browse using your Google account get shared to your account. You may simply choose not to sync or sync and then delete them so as to dissociate them from your account.
