Insync 1.28 seems frozen

Using insync 1.28 Ubuntu 14.04.1.

The wheel symbol in system tray shows constantly but not rotating.

Light on system tower on constantly.

Tried shutdown of insync an restart.

I came across this old thread searching for a solution to my own similar problem. I’ll post this here in case it helps anybody else.

It’s not clear that this was definitely the fix, but after setting the correct locale environment variables (for the server process), things started syncing properly again. I’d noticed something in the logs re. a file with non-ASCII characters.
