I am looking at the forum for an answer to the UNLINKED problem and I see a lot of messages, I see a lot of requests for logs, but I have not seen an answer
I would suggest that a “RESOLVED” type message be submitted by the engineers as sort of a non-faq faq to help with the helplessly lost

Ok, using the linux client I think what happens is this
insync-portable get_status
UNLINKED
There isn’t an easy way of finding out what actually is happening. The best you have is
insync-portable get_progress
Which will give its status
but you are left to infer what UNLINKED means
and the best I’ve been able to infer is that my local system is being scanned before linking with google’s systems. the reason i say linking like that is because UNLINKED implies LINK and the next status is SYNCING or SHARE or something
All of these speak volumes and the answers are right there, but so far, I haven’t found the documentation
