Change file and folder ownership

I have searched the forums and can’t seem to find if it is possible to change the ownership of files and folders created by one account to the owner of the account in which the files and folders are stored. Is this possible?

For example, I have:
Root-----Sub Folder 1
|–Sub Folder 2

I share sub folder 2 with a friend, and he adds a couple of files and folders (in Google Drive). In Google Drive it says that he is still the owner, when I would like my Root’s owner to own all files and folders under the root.

I hope this is somewhat lucid.

Hi @CFI_Martin I think this is mainly a concern for under Google Drive itself. You can manually move the files but Inysnc cannot change the ownership of the documents since we abide by Google Drive permissions.
