Conversion to Microsoft Format, will it duplicate original file in new format?

Hello,

I have quite the file structure and I would like to have online access to those file, but in the past this feature worked but created duplicates of the source file in it’s new format.

Does this still happen? If so is there a way of managing an original source file without the need to make duplicates?

@apeicao: The source files should not be duplicated if you convert them to Microsoft Office format. Did you encounter this issue in Linux, Mac, or Windows?
