For some time I’ve had this problem: after each system launch (Linux Mint MATE) Insync performs some awful disk thrashing for 10-15 minutes, almost blocking the computer. I have to pause syncing for a while in order to start the software I need to use, then resume (and the thrashing continues). I haven’t been making any big changes in the synced files and folders recently, I haven’t worked with any large files either. Still, this unbearable disk activity happens after each launch.
Identical problem here, with Ubuntu 14.04 and Insync 1.2.9
Forgot to mention versions:
also Insync 1.2.9
Linux Mint 17.1
The problem seems to have been removed in 1.2.10.
Thank you Insync developers!
Confirmed, the problem is now solved for me
