Example 1 - Insync is running
If I have uploaded a file to Google Drive, Insync will naturally attempt to download it to my Insync folder. However, if I copy the same file (let’s say from a USB) into the Insync folder, Insync does not detect that the file has been added. It continues with the download.

Example 2 - Insync app is terminated then relaunched
If I have uploaded a file to Google Drive, Insync will naturally attempt to download it to my Insync folder when relaunched. However, if I copy the same file (let’s say from a USB) into the Insync folder then relaunch the Insync app, sometimes, Insync will download a duplicate e.g. my_file (2).

@Noffica Yes it will upload the file since Insync will detect it as a new file. File-compare feature that will allow this use-case is not yet possible. We will have this in version 1.4 or earlier. No ETA for the release.
