How would Insync for Pi handle this new deduplication feature on Drive?

Google has a weird definition of deduplication. I was hoping that the official clients would stop uploading files that are already stored on their servers like Dropbox. But nope. They had a completely different feature in mind.

I was just wondering how Insync would handle files with same names with this change. Right now if I upload two files with same name on Drive web, Insync renames the second copy on syncing. I would prefer to have it this way instead of Google’s just announced versioning thing.

@Sushubh: From our review it looks like the feature won’t affect Insync because there’s no reference to it in the API documentation.
