Ignore lists syntax (insync-headless)

I am trying to ignore folders using the manage_ignore_list command and the interface it brings up on insync-headless. What is the syntax of the rule if I wanted to ignore a folder and all its contents on my drive (eg Folder1) and if I wanted to ignore a sub folder and its contents (eg Folder2/Folder3 ). Im trying simply to add the name of the folder with no luck.

@Jamal_Shaheed: The ignore list only applies to new files and folders. If Folder1 already exists in your Insync folder then it won’t be checked if it’s in the ignore list. You could do the following instead:

  • Make a copy of Folder1 outside of your Insync folder.
  • Uncheck Folder1 in the selective sync interface. This will delete Folder1 in your Insync folder.
  • Add Folder1 to the ignore list interface.
  • Put back the copy of Folder1.
