Incremental backups on SBS 2011

Hi,

I am thinking of using Insync for the following scenario:

  1. Installing on a Windows SBS 2011 server.

  2. Using Insync to backup multiple folders to a Google Drive account.

The issues I need to clarify are:

  1. Some of the folders are sensitive data (SQL DB). Would it keep the data intact?

  2. Some of the folders are very large. Does Insync do an Incremental backup?

  3. If it does that Incremental backup - does it keep the versioning feature of Google Drive?

  4. Would it support backup of network share folders, located on the SBS Server’s client computers that are shared with the user running Insync on the server?

@Mark_Doc To answer your questions:

  1. Yes, there will be no lost of data during the syncing process
  2. We upload large files, and it may take some time but, if the syncing was paused, it will resume from where it stops.
  3. Yes, you may also upload the files from a shared folders as long as it is connected to Insync.
