Hey @John_Daddow,

Thanks for reaching out. Tagging our engineer @Kurt_Ko to take a look at the issue.

yep I have the same issue since I am running the same OS as John

Hi @John_Daddow and @David_Ruedeman

Can you try running ‘sudo rm -rf /usr/lib/insync/libnss3.so’ and ‘sudo rm -rf /usr/lib/insync/libnssutil3.so’?

And then try starting Insync again.

Let me know if it works. Thanks!

Hi @Kurt_Ko,

Still the same error after deleting the two files.

Hi, just to say I tried

insync-1.5.2.37346-fc25.x86_64.rpm

which is the suggested download for tumbleweed, and works fine on Leap 15.0 under Kde.

When I select OpenSUSE Leap for the download it offers me fc24 (insync-1.5.2.37346-fc24.x86_64.rpm).

I selected Fedora Fedora25 and downloaded fc25 (insync-1.5.2.37346-fc25.x86_64.rpm) and it works.

After a reboot, it’s not starting.

No error message. Just doesn’t start.

This is the content of out.txt after attempting to start:

@Kurt_Ko do you have any ideas about this please?

@Kurt_Ko,

I tried http://s.insynchq.com/builds/insync-1.5.4.37362-fc25.x86_64.rpm and it didn’t work.

This has been ongoing for three week now, which means we’ve moved into the realms of… I’m not getting what I paid for.

Hi @John_Daddow

Can you go to run: ‘cd /usr/lib/insync’ and then run ‘./py -c “import locale; print(locale.getdefaultlocale())”’ and send me the output?

And also can you run ‘locale’ and send me the output? Thanks!

Just confirm the same symptoms: fc24 does not work and fc25 works on Leap 15

Good news.

I added:

Yast -> Sysconfig Editor -> System -> Environment -> Language -> RC_LANG_ALL to en_US.UTF-8
Yast -> Sysconfig Editor -> System -> Environment -> Language -> RC_LC_TYPE to en_US.UTF-8

I changed:

Configure Desktop -> Regional Settings -> Formats -> Region to Default.

Since then, I have done a number of restarts, and insync-1.5.4.37362-fc25.x86_64.rpm continues to run and sync correctly.

Thank you for your time and consideration @Kurt_Ko
