  1. Will I be automatically updated to 2.0?
    -Not all 1.3 clients will be updated to 2.0, only Pro and Business users will be automatically updated.

  2. Will beta users be automatically updated to 2.0?
    -We will update you on this once we can release the new pricing models.

  3. Will I need to download 2.0 or will 1.3 automatically update?
    -You will need to download 2.0 in order to use it. The 1.3 client will still be functional despite 2.0.

Features available in beta

  1. Will multi-mount point be available?
    -Yes this will be possible with 2.0.

  2. Will there be an option for simultaneous upload limits?
    -There are plans to allow users to change/increase this limit.

  3. Will you still keep nautilus integration for Linux?
    -Yes, all file manager integrations are supported in 2.0.

No plans to support feature yet

  1. Will there be any changes in headless support?
    -Not immediately. We are still looking into the backend changes for 2.0.

  2. Local sync, one way sync, server to server import, automatically pause sync on metered connections
    -No immediate plans for these yet.

  3. Right-click shell menu
    -No new additions are being planned, but Add to Insync as well as Selectively unsync should still be available.

  4. Will 2.0 enable me to selectively un-sync without deleting?
    -This isn’t a priority and might not be available in the initial 2.0 release.
