Sadly it seems the fixes for crashes were not incorporated, also the Readme and installation is outdated, sadly, in the original repo. I am not sure why my PR was ignored and you came up with you own implemenation.
Agree. Drew’s implementation is working perfectly for me since 6 months now.
Can confirm, icons have returned to Dolphin in Kubuntu 25.10.
