InSync possibilities

Hey all,

After a informitive session with google they advised me to use InSync in combination with google drive/apps for work.

  • We want to use +50 users in google drive.
  • The folders, users, groups and share permissions need to be synced from our on-premise shares to Google Drive. (Google Apps Directory Sync and Insync?)
  • The folder structure need to be the same.
  • When a user uses the google drive app. he doenst notice a big difference.
  • For ±10 users the google drive need to be a mapped drive on the windows client.

See attached image what we have now and want to have.

I also have a problem with adding more users with my trial account to test the possibilities:

Hi there, can you kindly send me the account you want to add more users to plus the link to this post to support@insynchq.com so I can add more users to your trial?

There might be an issue using the Google Drive client along with Inysnc together, we recommend only using on of the two to avoid issues :smile:
