(fixed on 3.2.8) Insync ubuntu repository not working on Ubuntu 20.04

I have the same issue,Ubuntu 20.04 development

Ubuntu 20.04 Beta has been released. How is Insync for Ubuntu 20.04 going? I really use it daily so it would be good to have it working! Also, on downloads, the most recently available is for 19.10.

Same here, using everyday. Downloads and the issue better to be solved immediately.

Hi! Our Linux team is working to release a build for Ubuntu 20.04 for an upcoming build!

Thanks! It’s good if there’s a pin here or some message somewhere when it’s released! I switched my workstation for Ubuntu 20.04 so it’s a missing piece on my workflow

I was about to go from Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04 and stopped only because of this! Please let us know when it is available.

Hi @rpicatoste @eri0o @mavci @area51pilot @alanvalejo

The repos will be updated in a couple of hours (the downloads are available in our webpage however), and glad to let you know that the Ubuntu 20.04 build is available for 3.1.7.

I’m not sure if I’m doing something different, but I’m getting a similar error as the OP. 20.04 is no longer beta at this point.

Hi @jbanahan,

Could you change the repository URL with: http://apt.insync.io/ubuntu focal?

Insync 1.5’s repo URL was http://apt.insynchq.com while Insync 3’s is the one above

I had the same problem with Mint 20. The code name is ulyana which isn’t signed as of yet. I just changed the sources list to go back to tricia and everything is working fine now. When the new Linux 20 is actually released, I will move the source back to Mint ulyana.

Edited for spelling errors.

Hi, here Linux Mint 20. Still it doesn’t work: it installs with errors, actually works but the repo is broken and insync-nemo can’t install. Would it be possible to install it without installing the repository?

I just downloaded the version for the latest Fedora, used alien to convert the rpm to a deb and then it works!

Can we please get a build of 1.5.7 for Ubuntu 20.04? this is really needed for those who need an Insync that is rock solid. Thanks.

Same problem in Kubuntu 20.04

Are you experiencing a GPG key expiry error?

If so, please run
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv-keys ACCAF35C

The new Key is working and allowing Insync to update as normal. Thanks Mia

Working on Kubuntu 20.04.

For reference, especially for Mint users the file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/insync.list is case sentive and needs to be lowercase, while the website of Mint codenames is proper case.
This caught me out and I fixed but this thread was the top google result for the error message so may be helpful to someone
