Moving files from one Google domain to another?

We’re under the impression that insync can help transfer many files/folders from one Google account to another Google account IN A DIFFERENT DOMAIN, something Google doesn’t support nicely (no mass export/import, no conversion of ownership between domaiins).

Insync has created two folders on our computer and downloaded all files from both accounts:
user@domain1
user@domain2

but what to do next is not clear. We were hoping it would sync (upload) all files to user@domain2 and we’d be done.

We did try uploading one file to user@domain2 using Google Drive (not insync), but the file has an extension .gddoc (Google Drive Doc?) and is not recognized as a Google Doc document when logged into Gmail (using Google Docs online).

Thoughts, advice? Thanks.

The whole point is this user is leaving the company and wants to move his files from his company Google account to his personal Google account.

Once sync in your domain1. You may copy the contents to domain 2 folder and it should sync automatically to domain 2 Google Drive folder.

Let me know if this works. Send us an email to support@insynchq.com.

Thank you.
