I just installed insync and let it sync my gdrive.
Then I went to my gdrive via browser and noted that my files (docs, sheets, presentations) have been doubled. For every file I now have one without and one with an extension (e.g. gdoc) that - in addition - also uses gdrive disk space.
Is this intended? For me that’s a huge disadvantage.
Hi Thomas, this definitely shouldn’t be the case. I apologize.
Did you enable the doc conversion settings?
Please send in your logs.db and out.txt file along with the link to this post to support@insynchq.com so we can handle this privately and we can assist you accordingly.
I took a second look and it seems that it was my own fault. I’ve forgotten to turn off Google’s own sync and thus it synced the gdoc files that were created by Insync back to the online drive .
