Release notes looked promising, still this behavior:

Marks many folders & files with the blue icon instead of the green icon (also after waiting for 1+ hour and sync inactivity):

The blue files are phyiscally present in the local folder.

Edit: Decided to try and completely remove the affected team drives (unsync) and re-sync again. It seems to be working now. Will keep an eye on it in the next weeks but I think this update might finally have fixed the most annoying issues I experienced since some time around 1.5.x. Fingers crossed.

Hi @mxttie

The yum repos are updated, your system might not be updated yet with our repo.
Running yum update insync should retrieve the latest package from our repo and install it

Let us know if you still have issues

mm, after checking out the xml on http://yum.insync.io/ i can indeed see the newer file versions. I’m using opensuse leap so maybe it does not properly refresh yum repos…

all opensuse leap versions below tumbleweed use glibc 2.26. So you probably should use this link instead for your repo:
http://yum.insync.io/fedora/27/
you can verify glibc versions per distro version on distrowatch.com

The default package manager for OpenSUSE is zypper – We recently added OpenSUSE to our yum repos. Can you create /etc/zypp/repos.d/insync.repo with the same contents as the one in /etc/yum.repos.d/insync.repo but change the baseurl= to http://yum.insync.io/opensuse-leap/OPENSUSE_VERSION/ (Replace OPENSUSE_VERSION with the version of your OpenSUSE Leap version ex. 15.0, 15.1, etc)

hi Kurt, finally a dedicated opensuse repo, that’s awesome! :slight_smile:
Btw, in opensuse you can replace OPENSUSE_VERSION by $releasever so the repo automatically updates when you upgrade the distro. So now my repo file is:

baseurl=http://yum.insync.io/opensuse-leap/$releasever/
path=/
type=rpm-md
keeppackages=0

You can use either use:

  • http://yum.insync.io/opensuse-leap/$releasever/ if you’re using OpenSUSE Leap
  • http://yum.insync.io/opensuse-tumbleweed/rolling/ if you’re using OpenSUSE Tumbleweed

as the baseurl instead of http://yum.insync.io/fedora/27/
