Norton's Deleting Install Files

Hello,
I just reformatted my computer and am installing Insync. Norton’s scans the download and deletes it each time. The reason is located at this link and is related to reputation: http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2010-051308-1854-99&vid=4294919973&product=Norton%20360%20Premier&version=22.5.5.15&plang=sym:EN&layouttype=ESD&buildname=Retail&heartbeatID=BABDEA85-DA85-45A0-9729-2CD0B55A8843&env=prod&vendorid=1000&plid=69&plgid=4&skup=21283494&skum=21349210&skuf=21222958&endpointid=BABDEA85-DA85-45A0-9729-2CD0B55A8843&partnerid=1000&lic_type=16&lic_attr=16928786&psn=XKDKHJXVXTVC&puid=5039&osvers=10.0&oslocale=iso:USA&oslang=iso:ENG&os=windows

Will this be fixed soon?
Thanks!
Michelle

Hi @Michelle_Moore I will tag our engineer @dipesh here and he will get back to you regarding this issue next week

Is there any update on this? I am seeing the same issue.

FWIW - I had not read the description of the ‘threat’. Since it is literally just an issue with the low number of Norton users who have installed InSync, I just added C:\Users<username>\Downloads\Insync-1.3.3.36056.exe as an exclusion under “Items to Exclude from Auto-Protect, SONAR and Download Intelligence Detection”. Actually, Norton won’t let you exclude a non-existent file so I had to create an empty file of the same name, exclude it from Norton, delete the empty file then download and install it from InSync.
