Office conversion

Hi,

I set the configuration to not download or upload files with Google Docs extensions (i.e. gdsheet, gddoc…)
If I select the option to convert Google Doc Files to Office files, will I have only the Office version in my computer?
What happens if I change on-line the Google Docs document? Will insync generate a new Office file every time I modify online the original document?

The converted files will be only available in your computer. Changes made online is sync to your converted document.
