Insync didn’t initialize any more, so I had to remove the account and readd it. I have about 2.5tb of data, and it is impossible to resync it all. it would take me about 2 month. Is there any actual way to compare the files? Or when will the insync 2.4 version be released? As the app says that this will be the version with file comparing included.

For similar reasons I had to give up using Insync for now and go back to the Google official client (which is generally not better but it has that). I really hope the compare feature will be added soon.
I have the same problem with 6.5 TB of data. I’ve had to switch to the Google Drive app for now because it can compare existing data with cloud data and not redownload thewhole thing. I’ll switch back to Insync when you’ve resolved this.

Unfortunately, file compare feature is still in the works but shall be out soon.
The workaround is available only for the case when you want to replicate an existing (working) Insync setup without having to resync from scratch.

I currently keep my files synchronous manually using total commander and a cloud plugin.
I is not as easy but it has a file compare feature.
