Specify a Google Drive Folder to save to

Hello,

Currently when I sync a folder from my PC, InSync uploads that folder to the root of Google Drive. I’d like to have a separate folder on Drive labelled “InSync” or “Backup Folder”. Any folders or files on my PC that I want to sync can then be saved to this particular folder.

Is this possible?

Hi there, have you tried our “Add to Insync” feature? Right click the chosen folder then an option to “Add to Insync” should be available. Any files placed in that folder will also upload to the same folder on Google Drive :smile:

Yes, that is what I’m doing now. But I don’t want that folder saved to the root on Google Drive. I want that folder and all its files saved under a folder for InSync.

Thank you for clarifying, unfortunately we do not support that current use case. You can, however, move the symlinks created in your Insync folder to another folder within your root
