Switching from one PC to another

Here is my scenario:
PC1 (Linux Mint XFCE running InSync 1.2.13) current syncs to a single Google Drive account (lets say: mydrive@gmail.com).
PC2 (Debian-based linux server, OpenMediaVault to be precise).

I want to install insync-headless on PC2 and sync that PC with the mydrive@gmail.com account. I will then turn off the sync on PC1 and uninstall insync from there.

If I first copy all the local files from PC1 to PC2 to a folder, for example /home/user/insync, and then set up insync on PC2 with the local folder set as /home/user/insync and syncing to the mydrive@gmail.com account, will InSync figure out that the local files are the same as the Google Drive-hosted files and all will be well? Or is this going to cause confusion?

It is not recommended and it will cause some issues that we don’t wanna happen. file-compare feature that will allow this use-case is not yet available. It will be available in version 1.3.

Please set-up Insync as recommended.

Thank you.
