Different users in my company have their inSync folder on different drives. To fix that, we used vsubsr (http://www.ntwind.com/software/utilities/visual-subst.html) to make certain shares their own virtual drives, which are the same across each computer. That worked.
But, the files in the virtual drive do not show the “sync status” icons that appear in each computer’s native drive/share.
Does anyone know of a way to make the “sync status” icons appear in the mapped virtual drives?
Sorry for the much delayed response. Could you tell us what OS are you accessing the mapped network drive from? If the mapped network location is being sync’d via Insync on that machine, it should show the sync-bages/status icons.
The local Google Drive store location is being sync’d with insync, and it shows the status icons. But when I map that same folder to a drive using vsubsr, the icons do not appear within that virtual drive, even though the location that has the status icons is the location that is being mapped.
