Synchronizing an external hd in two different computers

DID:

  1. Synched folder “NN” UP to Drive using alias in OS X from computer 1, no problem.
  2. Tried synch folder “NN” DOWN from Drive on computer 2 (also OS X) using alias to put synched contents out of the synch folder. I did this by creating folder “NN” out of synch folder and place alias “NN” inside synch folder, then selected “NN” to be synched in insynch.

HAPPENED:

  1. Insynch created new folder “NN” in Drive, parallel to original “NN”
  2. Insynch synched original folder contents of “NN” from Drive to new folder “NN (2)” in synch folder on computer 2, parallel to the “NN” alias.

EXPECTED:
Method for synching DOWN from Drive straight into alias. Any workarounds?
