Syncing randomly stops without warning

I am using 64-bit headless rpm v1.3.5.36069 in openSUSE Leap 42.1. I’ve had the setup in place for weeks, and it’s been fine.

Recently, I’ve found that it stops syncing for no reason. Even after hours of standby, and forced syncs, nothing works.

Here is the terminal session. Restarting the program seems to work eventually, but no hints as to what’s broken…
