Uploading large compressed files

Howdy,
I am using InSync on a Ubuntu Machine to upload backups to Google Drive. Each night a simple backup is run as a cron job and it takes a copy, archive and compresses the documents into a single file. This output file is approx 2-3GB and our internet connection is very slow i.e. 300kps upload.

Does InSync upload parts of a compressed file or does it the whole file at once? This is an issue as Insync pauses when business resumes at 0700 and resumes at close of business at 2130. The 2-3 GB file does not upload overnight and I’m wondering if it will ever work.

Thanks

@Lachlan_Graham: Insync uploads the file by parts and it should resume where it left off if you stop then restart it. Please be aware though that an upload will fail and be restarted if it hasn’t finished in a week, or if there is no new activity within a day or so.
