After automatic update, all files are synced again

I can not believe that I am the only one with this problem. A few days ago 1.317.36187 was automatically installed. It found a huge amount of files to sync. I checked Manage and all GD Folders had been checked by this new version. However on my MacBook Pro 2011 I only need some files to be backed up, which are in one folder.

Thus a huge download from GD started. I made the changes in Manage, just tagging the one folder I needed, but that did not solve the problem. I will try to add some screen shots.
Some 57.000 files are being downloaded from GD, virtually the entire drive.

I need help resolving this, because I do not know what to do. The problem is serious, because where I live we can only get 1.4MB down and 750kbps up. If I let this run, it will take over a week if we do not find a solution. Please help.

@Silicon_Breath At any point were you asked to sign in again? And just to confirm, auto-update to 1.3.17 appears to have messed up your selective sync settings such that everything in your Drive was downloaded?

Prior to the update, was Insync already finished syncing your selected files?
