Hi, helping a user at my office with an issue regarding insync/google drive trash.
She accidentally moved a child folder from her main insync folder to an external drive. This removed the folder from google drive (which is expected behavior but she didn’t realize that). However, the deleted folder does not show up in her google drive trash. We were able to copy the entire folder back to her local Mac but the gdocs/gdslides etc. are not syncing since they are just pointers. She is nervous that the google docs within the folder are not recoverable.
She is under a google apps for business domain - would the admin have access to the trashed files she removed? Is this normal behavior for the files to just disappear without going to the gdrive trash? What log files do you need from us? She is on the latest 1.3 version.
