I currently use insync on a mac server to sync all files to google dive when saved. A colleague also accesses the files and used to do so locally by connecting to the server share ie not google drive. This worked fine but recently he has found that opening a file, changing the contents and saving has resulted in the file having (1) attached to the end. I presumed it was the server syncing far too slowly and it was clashing with the person syncing from their laptop. How possible is this - do you think its the cause of the duplicate files?
