Exclude Folder by Path

Trying to ignore a folder called “images” inside of another directory, however adding:

client1/images
client1/images/
client1/images/*
Full_Google_Drive_Path/client1/images

has absolutely no effect. I’ve seen the ignore feature work on folders, so I know I can put “images” in the ignore list and that will work… However, I have other folders called images in other directories that I DO want synced…

How can you specifically exclude a folder, or it’s contents, by path?

We do not have the option to ignore files by path. You can, however, use selective sync to ignore syncing contents of a folder: How to selectively sync Google Drive folders and files
