1.5 vs 3 and future

Just purchased Insync. However, Insync 3 running on Windows is always geting stuck on “scanning” a folder. I tried to figure out what was wrong, but trying out different folders, but it always gets stuck “scanning”

Insync 1.5, works great. No problems so far, which is why I purchased.

However, with 3 not working as expected and I got a survey after purchasing asking how I would feel if insync went away, I worry for the future of this software.

I really like insync (at least 1.5 because it works). Are there plans for LTS support of 1.5?

Hi @crowe,

Apologies for your experience with Insync 3. Does it only get stuck on that particular folder and nothing else? Is this folder beings synced and/or are there huge changes being made to that directory?

1.x is no longer maintained as we have moved our resources to supporting and improving 3.x.
