Automatic updater appears to delete .exe file

After installing Insync-3.0.31.40739 on a Windows 10 machine, it correctly syncs and then attempts to auto-update. Upon auto-updating to Insync-3.1.1.40765 I get the following warning message popup “Fatal error detected. Failed to execute script updater”. The insync.exe file is then nowhere to be found on my system. However the Insync app folder: C:\Users\darien\AppData\Roaming\Insync\App still exists.

When I try to do a fresh install with the Insync-3.1.1.40765 installer, it installs into the same location, but then does not correctly offer an executable so I can’t even start up the app.

Is this a known issue?
Is there a way to turn off auto-updates?

Hi @darienmorrow! There’s a chance that your firewall/antivirus is blocking the insync.exe file. Is it possible for you to add the Insync App folder into the exclusion list of your antivirus?
