If I uninstall insync-caja package, I only have the “segmentation fault” error. So yes there an issue with caja package on debian.
But, still, there is an issue with your insync-caja package :
$> caja &
(caja:14363): Caja-Python-WARNING **: g_module_open libpython failed: /libpython2.7.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
ImportError: could not import gobject (error was: ‘/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gi/_gi.so: undefined symbol: _Py_ZeroStruct’)
(caja:14363): Caja-Python-WARNING **: pygobject initialization failed
(caja:14363): Caja-Python-WARNING **: caja_python_init_python failed
Segmentation fault
I already reinstalled insync-caja, caja itself, tried a dpkg-reconfigure to fix this.
@Echo I see. We did have issues with the Caja integration in the past, it looks like it hasn’t been resolved yet. I’ll try looking into this but in your case since Caja doesn’t work reliably I think it would be better if you try another file manager.
