"Can't instantiate abstract class LinuxHeadlessSetupDialog" error on Ubuntu server 14.04.1

I’m trying to setup insync headless on a Linux headless server running Ubuntu Server 14.04.1

I’ve installed from the repos:

http://apt.insynchq.com/ubuntu trusty non-free contrib

When I try to add account via “insync-headless add_account [oauth code]” I get the following error:

Error: Can’t instantiate abstract class LinuxHeadlessSetupDialog with abstract methods hide

Anyone seen this before?

Same here on Arch linux - just installed from AUR. Previously working fine on my ubuntu 14.04 installs with installations in the last few days.

Same here. We were just attempting to install and received the error. We are on CentOS.

Still working on the Ubuntu side?

I have the same issue on the Raspberry Pi, version 1.2.3

Same here on Debian:

ianch-hp insync: insync-headless -v
1.2.3.35090
ianch-hp insync: cat /etc/debian_version
7.8

Just confirmed that my previous install is working, at least insync-headless get_status gives SHARE as the response. The problem only seems to be for new setups.

Edit - my existing setup is:
insync-headless 1.1.5.32051
ubuntu 14.04.01

I assumed that there would be an auto version upgrade in the background but I guess that’s not the case.

Further update: I see lots of other posts on this forum that make me think that the 1.2.3 version is just broken, both on the headless and GUI clients, and across platforms. I think I’ll just wait for an update that fixes this.

Hello All: We are aware of this issue and we are working on a fix for this bug.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hello all,

Fix for this has been released. Please upgrade insync-headless to 1.2.4. Download links are available at www.insynchq.com/downloads. New version has also been added to our apt and yum repos.

Thanks @Luis_Pugoy - I’ve just upgraded on my Ubuntu server box and confirm that this is working with 1.2.4.

Great work on the quick resolution!
