CentOS Stream 10 build?

I am currently using the version for CentOS 9, as there is no option for the 10 on your downloads site. The current version (for CentOS 9) works ‘okish’ on 10, but I am not sure how reliable is, even there is no toolbar on it, if I kill the darn window the whole app is shutting down. IIRC you had plans (old forum) to plull the plug off from those builds, so if you have no intention to support the latest RHEL/CentOS versions, please let me know, I have no intention to risk my data using outdated half-baked apps.

Thank you for reaching out and my apologies for the trouble. Allow me to raise this issue with our engineers.

@csynt Thank you for your patience. Could you try this build for us? https://cdn.insynchq.com/builds/linux/3.9.6.60027/insync-3.9.6.60027-el10.x86_64.rpm

I tried the RHEL9-build on Rocky Linux 10 (RHEL10) and had the same problems as OP. I then tried this new el10-build, and it seems the problems go away. Toolbar/title bar is back, closing the main window does not close the whole app but it continues working in the background…

The only thing I’ve noticed is that I use the AppIndicator and KStatusNotifierItem Support by 3v1n0 GNOME extension and through this, in Rocky Linux 9.6 (RHEL9), Insync (like f.ex. Steam) has a status icon on the taskbar in the right box next to the system menu. This shows that it is running, status, and is an easy way to access the main window. In Rocky Linux 10 (RHEL10) with the same GNOME extension and this new el10 build, Steam is there but Insync is missing (it was there with the el9 build). When updating files I get the alert and sync in RL10, so insync is still running, but no status icon. I have to open the application menu and open the main window from there. A small nuisance, but one all the same.

Thank you for the feedback regarding the missing status icon. Allow me to forward to our engineers so we can check what might be causing that, and provide a fix accordingly.

So I have recently installed centos10 stream on my laptop and everything I was used to installing and using is working ok for me on centos 10.
After installing the insynchq version for fedora 40 (equivalent for centos10) it would install (where as using higher fedora versions failed with missing dependencies) but hangs up with a spinning ring icon after I authenticate to google drive. So searched for “insynchq problems installing on centos 10 stream” and it came up with this page and this working rpm package; cdn.insynchq.com/builds/linux/3.9.6.60027/insync-3.9.6.60027-el10.x86_64.rpm
it is working good for me now and syncing my necessary files.
