Citrix or Terminal Server?

Hello,

I am looking for a solution for using Google drive on a Terminal Server, or Citrix, Server.

That is, about 6 - 10 users, with each his Google Drive account and folder, working on the same server.

Does InSync can handle this ?

Thank you for your answers.

Hi @Bebel, is it on Windows?

Yes, on Windows.

We use TSPlus, a Terminal Server and a Windows 2012.

What should I do ?

Install InSync for each user ?
or
Using only one InSync (as a service ?) and giving him all the users accounts… and all the rights on all the folders ?

It should work fine on a Windows Terminal Server. Insync is a per user application. It installs itself on the user’s roaming profile and which is also where it stores its databases.

If you don’t want users being able to access each others Google Drive, ideally, per user would be the case

Thank you. I will try that, and keep you informed.

Ok. So, it does not work. That’s it:

  1. I install InSync for a user 1, using the Insync-1.3.17.36167

  2. Setup of Insync for user 1, with a Google Drive account 1

  3. Everything works fine

Then

  1. install InSync for a user 2, using the Insync-1.3.17.36167

  2. launch of Insync for this user 2

=> InSync for User 1 is stopped. and I have to relaunch it.

But InSync for user 2 is still working.
