Constant connections to 127.0.0.1:443

Has anyone else on Linux noticed their icon going from synced (white with green checkmark) to grey and back again over and over forever.

I noticed this behavior recently (don’t recall exactly when it started). When I sniffed the network connections, I found that insync was continually and very frequently trying to open 127.0.0.1:443… which is odd, because there’s nothing listening on that SSL port on my machine.

If I deny insync from making that connection in my local firewall, the Insync icon stays in the synced status… and the app seems to continue working fine. There are no errors, and both Google and OneDrive still sync new changes.

Can you please confirm that something in your network chain is not blackholing a service InSync needs to 127.0.0.1? It can be a DNS server along the chain or other software/hardware meant to protect you from something.
