Conversion Google <-> Libreoffice

Hi there,

I´m using Libreoffice 5.0.4.2 on current Fedora 23. All working fine except automatic file conversion between Google and openoffice format. The Google Spreadsheet is converted correctly into openoffice format. But when I edit it and it is synced back to Google the whole spreadsheet format is broken after being converted back to Google format. No longer possible to work with it as each column and row width is changed to a minimum, it´s just a complete mess.

Only solution for me is to work without conversion.

Anybody else with that problem?

@Skydiver84de : This is unfortunately a limitation with Google’s conversion of OpenOffice spreadsheets to Google Sheets where some complex formatting is not converted correctly. We have no control over this, we only use Google Drive’s provided API. You could try converting it to Microsoft Office format instead though I’m not sure if that will make a difference.

That doesn´t work as well… I think the idea of converting the document is great, but unless Google corrects its API its more or less useless. :frowning:
