I’ve had a friend that just got infected with CryptoWall and got locked out of his data. Now, since Insync (and Google Drive, to be fair), encrypts all the data on your local drive, and then automatically syncs with GDrive, I would assume that it would be vulnerable to this as well?
Is there a way to protect against a mass modification, with perhaps a dialog box confirming, when a modification is above a certain threshold? This would also, for example, include people accidentally deleting a folder or similar. I’ve looked through the settings, but can’t find anything applicable. I may have missed it, though.
Thanks
