I have a google doc that is synced in my insync folder on my computer. When I open it offline as a word doc and make changes, something strange happens. I change the font color to red on some items and that change syncs just fine, but I change the font color to gray on others, and that change doesn’t sync.
I save the document. Close it. watch the sync happen in my menu toolbar. Reopen the document, and the changes are gone for the gray fonts.
any suggestions?
@Scott_Pontier This sounds like an issue with the Drive API converting the local document to the Google document format, but we’ll have to check whether there’s a possible workaround from Insync’s side. Could you try quitting Insync, making the gray font changes, then uploading the edited document via the Drive web app as a new version of the Google Document?
What software are you using on your computer to edit the word document? If possible, could you make a test document with which you encounter the issue and send it to support@insynchq.com?
