Does not sync new Folders & files until I got to "selective Sync"

Hi,
I norticed the new files created directly from Google Drive Web App are not automatically synced on my mac.
Once I go to the InSync App in the Menu Bar, and selects the “Selective Sync” Tab of the corresponding Google Drive account, the missing files or Folder automagically appear on my local Mac folder.

Hello @Marc_Rapoport, how long is the interval between adding the file on Drive and it not syncing to your Mac? This is not always instantaneous, as Insync currently relies on periodically checking the changes feed provided by the Drive API.

I have noticed files not showing up on my local mac volume even days after being added online on Drive, I don’t expect real time syncing, but still  What is the default syncing interval in Insync?

@Marc_Rapoport Ah, that is indeed strange and unexpected. The default interval should just be a few minutes, at the most. Syncing would only possibly be delayed if there are a lot of other changes queued to be synced.

When you notice this delay, is Insync processing a lot of other files, or was it otherwise idle/synced (green checkmark)?

Just to confirm, these are files that are owned by you, and not shared files, correct?

No,
No task in queue, Insync is doing nothing,
Please note that it specifically happens to the “Google Photos” folder, which is a special folder in Drive, not a regular one.
It is not a sub-folder of “My Drive” in the web interface, it’s between “Shared with me” and “Recent” in the Web UI of the main page of Drive. Still it shows as a sub-folder of the main Drive Folder on my local Mac hard drive. Could it be the reason for the issue?
