Insync is currently a two-way sync tool but one-way sync is in the works 
Can you share more about your workflow that would use the one-way sync functionality?
My idea is the following. I am working online on google docs. But I would like to have a backup of my data converted to OpenOffice or Microsoft Office format. Since conversion is not perfect, I would prefer not to update a remote file if I modify the local one intentionally or not intentionally.
