Error Installing Insync on Kubuntu 23.04 LTS

Hello,

I’d like to install InSync on on Kubuntu 23.04 but I’m getting this error:

matt@kde-matt:~/Downloads$ sudo apt install ./insync_3.8.6.50504-lunar_amd64.deb
...
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Note, selecting 'insync' instead of './insync_3.8.6.50504-lunar_amd64.deb'
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 insync : Depends: libc6 (>= 2.37) but 2.35-0ubuntu3.5 is to be installed

Any help would be appreciated. I can’t downgrade lib6c because it will break other dependencies. I’ve also tried to install using the PPA and apt-get, but I get the same error message.

Let me send this to our engineer for further investigation, @Matthew_Pickard!

Hi @Matthew_Pickard

Can you send us the output of lsb_release -a?

Yep! Here ya go @Kurt_Ko.

No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
Release: 22.04
Codename: jammy

Hi @Matthew_Pickard

You’re on Ubuntu 22.04 not 23.04. Download and install this build instead:
https://cdn.insynchq.com/builds/linux/insync_3.8.7.50505-jammy_amd64.deb

Ugh. Sorry for that oversight. The 22.04 package installed just fine on my system. Thank you for your help.
