Fails on bootup on 2 different machines, both Ubuntu Mate 17.10

I get “insync crashed with SIGSEGV in call_init()”
version 1.4.5.37069-trusty
Thus product is completely useless to me now. Disappointed, that a paid product is this buggy (suggested topics indicates this is a recurring type of problem). I’m not sure I can trust this in the future even if you can provide a fix for this time.

Hi,

I deeply apologize for the trouble. :frowning: Tagging our engineers @beatobongco and @Kurt_Ko for further assistance.

Thanks, looking forward to their reply. 18.04 was just released, so I’ll upgrade one of my machines to that and see if it makes a difference.

Surely. Just shoot me an email at support@insynchq.com if you also encounter issues with 18.04. We’ve just made the bionic repository available via apt-get.

@Randy_Earl_Research Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. Can you try out the artful installation since you’re on Ubuntu Mate 17.10? Here’s a link https://www.insynchq.com/downloads?start=true – Select Ubuntu 17.10, and 32-bit/64-bit depending on your OS architecture. Thanks!
