Hi there
I am getting errors when updating the fedora; please see the screenshot attached.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Many thanks
The repo for 41 is not ready yet. Wait a few days.
I have alerted our Linux Team regarding Fedora 41’s release. Thank you!
Thank you, looking forward to this…
Thank you for your replay.
Is there any news on this, Mia?
I just installed Fedora 41 and Insync install still appears to be impossible.
Thanks for your effort.
Kind regards.
Hi @bjorn_linzer, kindly standby for our updates! F41 is in the works
For now, please use the Fedora 40 installer and do let me know if there are any issues with that build so I can alert our Linux engineer accordingly.
Thank you!
Hi Mia,
Thanks for your reply.
The fedora 40 installer throws an error message (don’t record the text, I’m not at that machine) and blocks the update/install mechanism until the repository is removed. I’m new to Fedora and don’t know much yet about trouble shooting. Gonna wait for the updated installer.
Good afternoon dear… Any predictions for a solution to this case (Fedora 40 and 41)?
@leolima Hello! Our engineer is currently working on the fix - we’ve encountered a few hiccups building the installer but will update once it’s ready.
Thank you!
Hey Insync Team,
Just wanted to give a quick shout-out for the awesome work you do! Your software has been a game-changer for me, and I know many others feel the same.
As part of the Fedora community (currently on Fedora 41), I’m happy to wait for updates and really appreciate all the effort that goes into making Insync better for Linux users. Fedora folks are a growing bunch, and we definitely value tools like yours.
Thanks for all that you do!
We appreciate this, @adaelxp! I am working closely with our Linux engineer to make sure all of you are in the loop when the Fedora 41 build is available.
Our engineers are still checking on a few dependency issues they encountered, but rest assured it will be ready very soon!
Same problem here!
Any predictions for a solution to this case?
I’m also anxious for the Fedora 41 build to update my system.
Thanks for the great work you do in Insync!
If you’re tired of waiting and use distrobox, you could put it in a Fedora 40 distrobox container for now.
I won’t link it but I have a GitHub repo insync-distrobox with bash scripts to help. Exports from the container to the host so everything is seamless.
