Hi.
any update for the issue:

Syncing file permissions

I’m running Insync in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and also on a virtual machine on that computer running the same Ubuntu release. Permissions were changed once to executable with: chmod +x myFile.py but are not getting synced properly on the other machine(s). How can I get Insync to sync and preserve file permissions for the same file across multiple Linux machines? This thread is related but not the same circumstances. Insync is running as the logged in user on both machines.

We have not yet circled back to this issue for re-investigation but I will line this up to be checked accordingly.
