Hi,
I have a strange problem. I’m using a programming environment that create files named:
.cproject
.project
Those files get uploaded to google drive correctly when I look at the web.
but when they are synced and downloaded to another computer they are converted to:
.cproject.xml
.project.xml
This corrupt my projects. Is there any settings for this? Any solution?
Best regards
/Mike
Hm, this problem is probably not an Insync problem, it is a Google Drive problem. Same thing happen if I download the files from the web in the browser.
The .cproject gets converted to .cproject.xml when it lands on the local storage.
Hi @Mikael_Hansson, sorry to hear about this inconvenience! Best to reach out to Google Support to understand what leads to this issue as they may have a better idea on what to do ![]()
Thanks! Yes I first thought that it was a sync problem, but as said got the conversion also when I downloaded directly from drive.
Found a way to work around it, a bit tricky but works ![]()
Have a nice weekend!
