Files in multiple locations only appear once

Google Drive supports having a single file located in multiple directories at the same time (this is achieved with Shift+Z from the web), but Insync only syncs those files to one of the locations.

Let me tag our engineer @dipesh and he will get back to you.

Hello @Adrian

This is the expected behaviour. Presently, the files with multiple parents on Google Drive web are sync’d to only one of the parents locally to prevent data redundancy. We want to eventually solve this by creating links (symlinks/junctions/aliases etc.) under the other parents. However, we haven’t been able to achieve this as yet.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Thanks
