Filter old files with selective sync

We store all our job files in Google Drive. Many of these files we may not ever need again we keep a copy just in case. Is it possible with selective sync to stop syncing files that have not been edited for over 12 months. This way our Google Drive storage size will continue to grow but the amount of data locally stored on the computer will remain the same only using files accessed or edited in the last 12 months.

If this does work will selective sync only remove the local copy?

If this isn’t possible is anybody aware of a way to do an archiving system like this with Google Drive

As of now, this is not yet possible. Will add this as a feature request though!
